A personal shopper at Roussard’s, a high-end department store, Diana spends her days surrounded by Hollywood’s most glamorous elite. But when it comes to her own movie-making dreams, Diana’s career is far from shining. Just when she’s folding up her Director’s Chair and settling into a life in the suburbs with her sister, fate intervenes, and famous action star Drew Williams takes an interest in her script — and her.

Overnight, Diana is thrust into an elite society of spoiled stars, backstabbing deals, and paparazzi that isn't nice to queer fat women like her. Together with Drew and a cast of diverse friends, Diana struggles to get a movie made that could redefine Hollywood and show girls like her that their stories matter. Along the way, she is forced to reevaluate everything she believed about this world and her identity within it.
